Occupants shelled a village in the Kharkiv region: a woman was killed, two men were wounded
On March 28, Russian occupation forces once again attacked the Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling of the village of Monachynivka, Kupyansk district, a 57-year-old local resident was killed.
The woman died from her injuries on the way to the hospital. This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv RMA Oleh Syniehubov.
Her husband was also injured as a result of the shelling; he is now receiving the necessary medical care.
Details of the enemy attack on the Kharkiv region were reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General. According to the investigation, on March 28, 2024, at about 11:00, the occupiers fired at the village of Monachynivka, Kondrashiv territorial community. As a result, a 57-year-old woman was killed and two men were injured. According to preliminary conclusions, the shelling was carried out from artillery.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation also shelled the city of Kupyansk and the village of Kurylivka. Residential and outbuildings were damaged in both settlements.
Under the leadership of the Kupyansk district prosecutor’s office of the Kharkov region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war, coupled with premeditated murder - part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Prosecutors and police are taking all possible measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
