The traffic pattern has become truly new, the head of the administration noted, since for more than two years the bridge had one-way traffic, but now it has become two-way.

"Everything is done to unload the DniproHES dam, which is another transport artery connecting the right and left banks of Zaporizhzhya. We are working on a new traffic mechanism between the right and left banks of Zaporizhzhya - without traffic jams," said Fedorov.

The head of the region noted that a joint meeting was held with representatives of regional and city authorities, road restoration services, patrol police, and hydroelectric power stations. City utilities laid out the markings and provided road signs and blocks.

However, the RMA noted that traffic on the girder bridge (Preobrazhensky Bridge) will remain one-way.

As for the power plant itself, according to Fedorov, “we are not talking about a quick restoration.”

“Specialists are only conducting an audit of the destruction,” he added.
