As a result of artillery shelling of the Pokrovsk district, there are wounded and dead

Under the procedural leadership of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched in criminal proceedings into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on April 6, 2024, Russian troops fired twice at the village of Kurakhivka, Pokrovsk district. Four people were killed when shells from the aggressor state hit the private sector. Among the dead were a 38-year-old mother and her 16-year-old daughter. A 52-year-old man was also injured.

In addition, the invaders attacked the city of Krasnohorivka, resulting in the death of a 25-year-old man. A 29-year-old city resident was also injured. He received medical assistance.

The enemy attacked these settlements with artillery. Prosecutors are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian armed forces.
