Occupants intensify activity in Mariinka sector - soldier

For the second day, the enemy has been trying to actively advance in the direction of Krasnohorivka near Mariinka.

Russian occupants have intensified their attacks in the Mariinka sector. The enemy has been actively attacking in the direction of Krasnohorivka near Mariinka for two days in a row. This was stated by Serhiy Tsehotskyi, an officer of the 59th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Yakiv Handziuk, on the air of Espresso TV channel.

"For the second day in a row, the enemy has been trying to actively advance towards Krasnohorivka," he said.

According to Tsekhotskyi, the enemy is attacking with armoured vehicles.

"Yesterday after 10 a.m. they started assaults and conducted seven such attacks. Today, at 5 a.m., they continued their assault actions," said the officer of the 59th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Yakov Handzyuk.

Tsekhotskyi also informed that over the last day, the Defence Forces managed to destroy seven units of enemy equipment and 50 occupants.

“We were able to record up to 15 pieces of equipment in one attack by the occupiers. In particular, infantry fighting vehicles with infantry supported by tanks. Our units repelled all attacks, and our positions were held. We were able to destroy seven pieces of equipment and eliminated 50 occupiers,” he added.
