That night, air defence forces shot down 16 of the 17 "shaheds"

On the night of 12 April, Ukrainian Air Force aircraft and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces destroyed 16 of the 17 "Shaheds" launched.

The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this.

The enemy attacked with 17 Shahed-type attack UAVs from Cape Chauda (Crimea) and an X-59 guided missile from the airspace of the occupied Donetsk region.

As a result of the air battle, 16 Shahed attack UAVs were shot down in Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kherson, Dnipro, Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions.
