Ukraine returned the bodies of another 99 fallen Ukrainian soldiers

This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War .

As a result of repatriation measures, 99 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine.
In particular, it was possible to repatriate 77 bodies of servicemen who fought in the Donetsk direction, 20 fallen soldiers from the Zaporizhzhya direction and two Defenders from the Kharkiv direction.

The fallen were returned thanks to the interaction of employees of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War with the Joint Center of the SSU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the Secretariat of the Commissioner for Persons Missing in Special Circumstances, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (TsU TsVD), the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and other representatives of the structures of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine . Special thanks to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their assistance.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces will transport the repatriated bodies and remains to designated government institutions. Law enforcement officials and forensic experts will identify the victims.
After identification, the bodies of our defenders will be handed over to their families for a dignified burial.
