In Odesa region, the deputy chairman of the village council was detained for taking a bribe
Petro Shchyrba, deputy head of the Fontan village council in Odesa region, was detained for taking a bribe from mobilised people.
The regional police reported this.
The official promised the 32-year-old fellow villager a deferment from mobilization for only 4.8 thousand dollars.
To do this, he allegedly must influence the employees of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support.
The draft dodger was to be declared unfit for military service. Shchyrba was informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code.
