The occupants shelled the Kherson region at night: there were hits, one person was injured

On the night of Sunday, April 21, Russian occupation forces shelled Kherson and a number of settlements in the region. In the city, houses, a hostel, and a section of a gas pipeline were damaged, and a person was injured as a result of the actions of war criminals.

First Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevskyi reported on the night shelling during the telethon. The RMA clarified that during the day the enemy hit towns and villages on the right bank of the region many times.

“There were arrivals in Kherson, Beryslav district, the city of Beryslav. There were preliminary calls for the wounded, but they were all worked out,” the official said.

The head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, added that over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled populated areas of the community five times. Defeats were recorded not only in Kherson, but also in Kamyshany.

In particular, two private houses, a hostel building and a section of a gas pipeline were damaged in the regional center. One woman was moderately injured and received medical attention.

According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, from the morning of yesterday until 06:00 on Sunday, 21 April, Russian troops shelled Antonivka, Komyshany, Inzhenerne, Poniativka, Chornobaivka, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Berislav, Tokarivka, Novotyanka, Novokaira, Kachkarivka, Lvov, Tyahyanka, Zolota Balka, Sablukivka, Novoberislav, Olhivka, Kozatske, Vesele and the city of Kherson. The occupiers also launched a missile attack on the Chornobaiv community.

The hits occurred in residential areas of settlements in the region, as a result of which 12 private houses were damaged. The enemy also hit an educational institution, an agro-industrial enterprise, a gas pipeline and a public catering facility.

Let us recall that at half past four on Sunday the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the activity of enemy tactical aviation (Su-34, Su-35) along the front line in the south. Monitoring channels reported on the launches of guided aerial bombs by the occupiers in the Berislavsky district of the Kherson region.
