The new law on mobilization should help streamline all data, - deputies
The delivery of subpoenas often occurs in a disorderly manner: Ukrainians who are already at war or who have died are called up for service. The new mobilization law is designed to correct all the nuances and streamline the mobilization process.
People’s deputies interviewed by Focus say that military registers will be operational in six months, and now data is being exchanged between different bases.
Computer technologies often bypass employees of territorial acquisition centers (TCRs). Proof of this is that subpoenas are issued to the deceased, elderly people and active military personnel. There are cases when summonses are also issued to children.
Recently, an unfortunate mistake was made regarding the now deceased sports journalist, editor-in-chief of Football magazine Artem Frankov (died October 31, 2023 at the age of 54). The Obolonskyi District TRC and SS of Kyiv issued a summons to him with a request to appear on April 20 to clarify the data.
Subsequently, the military explained that summonses to deceased Ukrainians were far from an isolated case. Recruitment centers do not have complete information about those liable for military service, since they are in no hurry to provide personal data.
Incorrect information about citizens can also be found in other state registers. Confusion in the system leads to such outright incidents.
