This summer, Ukraine will receive new and powerful weapons from the United States to counter Russian aggression. In particular, we are talking about longer-range weapons, which the Russian occupiers will be able to see in action very soon.

Former US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs Victoriya Nuland said this in an interview with Meduza. She noted that the United States has provided Kyiv with significant military and economic support over the past three years.

“Special funds have been created for reconstruction (of critical infrastructure. - Ed.), for energy support for the country, for humanitarian assistance. Our special representative (for economic recovery of Ukraine Penny Pritzker. - Ed.) is working on the revival of Ukrainian cities - so that people can return home so that exports can pick up again,” Nuland said.

At the same time, she noted that while the allies are increasing assistance to Ukraine, Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin and his occupation forces are causing more and more harm to the country. According to some estimates, about 1 thousand Russian soldiers die at the front every day. And the Russian Federation suffers such losses only in order to advance several kilometers and capture several villages.

“Therefore, Ukraine’s needs are growing, but I think we will continue to help it - in particular with new and longer-range weapons, which you will see in action at the front this summer,” Nuland emphasized.
