Soldiers of five Ukrainian brigades said in an interview that there was a shortage of shells
Le Monde interviewed soldiers from five Ukrainian brigades stationed in the Donbass, where the fiercest fighting is taking place.
They all confirmed that neither the ammunition associated with the Czech plan (800 thousand shells) nor the aid package from the United States reached them.
We read the news, but we are realistic. We only rely on what we actually have on hand. We have enough small arms ammunition, but we don’t have enough of everything else: drones, anti-drone capabilities, shells, missiles... And we see that the supply continues to decline and become increasingly unstable. They cover only the slightest need- said one of the fighters.
Other soldiers note that the lack of drones and artillery fire support leads to losses.
We also lose a lot of equipment due to enemy FPVs (drones), we absolutely need electronic warfare. My battalion lost its last scrambler two days ago – said the Ukrainian military man.
Near Bakhmut, the tank company of the 28th brigade is experiencing a shortage of shells and fuel.
We have only one anti-drone jammer for the entire company, consisting of 10 T-64 tanks. For every pair of tanks you need at least one “jammer” – adds another fighter.
