Zelenskyy: All decisions on Western aid are about a year late

President Zelenskyy said that Western countries are extremely slow in making decisions on military assistance to Kyiv, which complicates the situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“All the decisions that we, and then everyone else together, come to are about a year late,” Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy described the supply of military equipment to Ukraine, in particular air defense systems like Patriot, as “one big step forward, and before that, two steps back.”

In an interview with Reuters, Zelenskyy also said that Ukraine is striking Russian energy facilities “because it leaves us without energy,” the agency reported.
