Ukrainian military expert Kostyantyn Mashovets reports this.

“The enemy, obviously, brought additional forces and means into battle in the Kharkiv operational direction,” he writes.

The General Staff does not mention Vovchansk in its latest report. The speaker of the Khortytsia group said that the situation in the city and on the Kharkiv front as a whole had been stabilized.

The American Institute for the Study of War writes that geolocated footage published on May 18 shows that Russian troops have advanced north of the Vovcha River in the city center.
