SSU in the Donetsk region detained an enemy informant
In the Donetsk region, an enemy informant was detained who was spying on Defence Forces bases in the Slovyansk region.
This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU).
According to the investigation, the traitor walked around the front-line area and tried to identify the locations of fortified areas, as well as artillery firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). In particular, “in the dark” she asked for the information she needed from acquaintances under the guise of everyday conversations.
The detainee sent all the intelligence information to an acquaintance - a traitor from the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region, part of the enemy fighting against Ukraine. The information received was sent to career military personnel from the Russian military intelligence.
“According to available data, the occupiers hoped to use intelligence information to engage Ukrainian Armed Forces units using heavy artillery and guided bombs,” the SSU adds.

In particular, it became known that during communication with the traitor, the detainee advised him to kill Ukrainian prisoners instead of exchanging them.
After the arrest, the attacker turned out to be a 66-year-old ideological fan of racism. During the searches, a mobile phone was seized, which she used for her criminal activities.
The detainee was informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - unauthorized dissemination of information about the direction, movement of weapons, weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, the movement, movement or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. She faces 12 years in prison.
