General Staff: The Ukrainian Armed Forces neutralized 1,080 invaders and 25 tanks of the Russian Army in one day

During the day of fighting at the front, the Ukrainian Defence Forces killed and wounded about 1,080 military personnel of the occupying Russian army. They also destroyed 334 units of its military equipment and weapons.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this. According to data as of June 2, the loss of manpower of the troops of the aggressor country on our soil has already reached 509,860 killed and wounded.

In addition to enemy personnel, the day before the soldiers neutralized 49 artillery systems (13,233 in total), 33 armored combat vehicles (14,980), 25 tanks (7,765), six air defense systems (821) and one MLRS (10).

The sky defenders repelled a massive air attack, shooting down 38 Russian cruise missiles (all 2,268), and also landed 82 operational-tactical UAVs (10,699).

The fighters turned another 86 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (a total of 18,092), and 14 special equipment (2,195) of the Russian troops into scrap metal.

Since the start of the full-scale war, the Defence Forces have also destroyed 357 aircraft, 325 helicopters, 27 boats and a submarine of the Russian army.
