The government allowed men abroad to register with consulates

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allowed men abroad to register with consulates.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defence.

“The innovations, in particular, concern the possibility of military registration through foreign diplomatic institutions of Ukraine for persons who have not been in Ukraine for more than three months. From now on, conscripts, those liable for military service and reservists will be able to register without personal presence at the regional territorial center for recruitment and social support ".

In addition, from the list of documents confirming the right to a deferment from conscription for Ukrainians abroad, the requirement to provide an opinion from a medical advisory commission on the need for constant care for persons with group II disabilities has been excluded.”

This, according to the department, will avoid unnecessary bureaucracy and simplify the procedure.

There are also changes in the procedure for providing information about administrative offenses of men: now this data will be sent to district (city) territorial centers for recruitment and social support of the police in electronic form.
