Enemy losses: The Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated 1,200 invaders, 36 artillery systems and 59 drones
During the day, the Ukrainian Defence Forces liquidated another 1,210 Russian occupiers. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war, as of the morning of June 8, Russia has lost 517,290 soldiers. The Ukrainian military also destroyed 36 artillery systems and shot down 59 operational-tactical drones.
This was reported on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The enemy’s total combat losses from 02/24/22 to 06/08/24 were approximately:
- personnel - 517,290 (+1210) people liquidated;
- tanks – 7843 (+9) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 15,105 (+9) units;
- artillery systems – 13,533 (+36) units;
- MLRS – 1095 units;
- air defence systems – 834 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 357 units;
- helicopters – 326 units;
- Operational-tactical level UAV – 10,945 (+59) units;
- cruise missiles – 2277 (+7) units;
- ships/boats – 28 units;
- submarines – 1 unit;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 18,484 (+68) units;
- special equipment – 2248 (+10) units.
