Great Britain and Latvia announced a tender for the purchase of drones for Ukraine
Members of the Drone Coalition will select several manufacturers to supply Ukrainian military UAVs on a large scale. These may be companies from Ukraine.
The UK and Latvia have announced a tender for the purchase of FPV drones for transfer to the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development Kateryna Chernohorenko wrote about this on Facebook.
Kateryna Chernohorenko noted that companies from all countries of the Contact Group on the Defence of Ukraine, including Ukrainian drone manufacturers, can take part in the tender. Based on the results of the tender, companies will be selected to supply the Ukrainian military with UAVs on a large scale and at affordable prices.
You can apply for participation in the tender by filling out a form on the official defense procurement portal of the UK Armed Forces. Applications from manufacturers are accepted until June 28, 2024. Next, the applications will be reviewed and assessed by members of the Drone Coalition, led by Latvia.
“I am grateful to Great Britain and Latvia for this initiative and urge Ukrainian manufacturers to participate in the tender. This is a good opportunity for the entire industry,” wrote Kateryna Chernohorenko.
