The situation at the front: in Pokrovsk direction the enemy attacked 26 times

The Ukrainian defence forces continue to contain the offensive actions of the Russian occupation forces. The number of military clashes increased to 71.

The most intense fighting takes place in the Pokrovsk direction.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00 on Thursday, June 13.

Along the entire front line, Ukrainian defenders are resisting the attempts of the Russian occupiers to break through the defenses and inflicting damage on them.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy unsuccessfully attacked Ukrainian troops twice near Hlyboke and west of Tykhyi. Fighting continues near Vovchansk. Russian terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian villages and towns with air strikes from their territory. In the afternoon, from the area of Belgorod (Russia), the aggressor launched five strikes using nine CABs at Vovchansk, and hit Vovchanski Khutory with eight NARs.

In the Kupyansk sector, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks, and two more combat engagements are ongoing. In the area of Petropavlivka, enemy aircraft attacked with eleven NARs, and the aggressor fired seven more unguided aerial missiles at Tabayivka.

In the Lyman sector, Ukrainian troops successfully repelled three occupants’ assault attacks. Fighting continues near Hrekivka and Nevske.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the enemy failed in six attempts to push our units from their positions. Two attacks continue near Novyi and Andriivka.

The situation is the hottest in the Pokrovsk sector. Since the beginning of the day, the occupants have carried out 26 attacks on the positions of our troops in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Kalynove, Novoselivka Persha, Yevhenivka, Novopokrovske, Mezhove and Nevelske. Enemy aviation is active. The defence forces are holding back the attack and repelled 16 attacks, and 10 combat engagements are ongoing.

In the Kurakhove sector, fighting continued near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka. The total number of attacks here has increased to 16. Our defenders repelled 10 attacks, and six more combat engagements are ongoing.

Enemy aircraft became more active in the Vremivsk sector. Staromayorske was hit by seven NARs, and the occupiers attacked Storozhove, Velyka Novosilka and Bohoyavlivka with CABs.

In other areas the situation has not changed significantly.
