The UK is not yet considering the option of sending its own or NATO troops to Ukraine.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak stated this in an interview with La Repubblica newspaper.
According to the head of the British government, the G7 decision to transfer frozen Russian assets to the Russian Federation to Kyiv, adopted at the summit in Italy, indicates that the allies are ready for anything.
Sunak also called on the West to increase investment in the defense complex, because the world has become dangerous and unpredictable as never before in recent decades.
At the same time, the British prime minister did not directly answer the question about allowing the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use Western weapons to hit targets anywhere in Russia. According to him, missiles must be used "in compliance with international humanitarian laws."
