Ukrainian Armed Forces: Occupants attacked Ukraine with "shaheds", 19 out of 21 targets were "downed" by defenders of the sky

On the night of June 19, Russian terrorists launched 21 Shahed-type kamikaze drones against Ukraine. 19 air targets were neutralized by air defense forces and means.

The results of the night fight against the enemy raid were reported on Telegram by the commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykola Oleshchuk. According to him, the Russians launched the UAV from the directions Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia and Cape Chauda in Crimea.

According to the commander of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare of the Air Force, as well as mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in repelling the air attack. Enemy "tin cans" landed in the Kherson, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi and Lviv regions.

"Shaheds" flew, in particular, to the western regions. Air defense was operating in Lviv and the region - in Malekhiv, as a result of a Russian attack, a multi-storey residential building was damaged and 20 windows were broken. One wounded male security guard, aged 70, is known to be injured. He is in moderate condition, the victim was hospitalized by ambulance.

According to the head of the Lviv RMA, Maxym Kozytskyi, in the Lviv region, air defense forces shot down all 5 “martyrs” with which the Russians attacked the region.

Also, the head of the Kirovohrad RMA, Andriy Raikovych, reported on Telegram that as a result of an enemy drone attack in the Oleksandriya region, windows were damaged in several rooms. Initially there were no casualties.
