The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the attack of Russian troops on New York, Donetsk region (in the Toretsk area).

It is reported that the enemy is today trying to oust the Ukrainian Armed Forces from positions near the village of Shumy and New York. The battle continues, the General Staff said.

Russian public pages wrote yesterday that battles are taking place on the southern approaches to New York.
