Occupants attack Ukrainsk in Donetsk region: two people killed, eight wounded
On July 1, Russian occupation forces shelled Ukrainsk, Pokrovsk district, Donetsk region. The attack killed two people and injured eight more.
This was reported by the Donetsk regional prosecutor’s office. “On July 1, 2024, at 07:40, the troops of the aggressor state struck the city of Ukrainsk with the Urahan MLRS. A residential building was at the epicenter of the enemy attack,” the message says.
As a result of the shelling, two women, 65 and 70 years old, who were on the street, were killed. Eight more civilians who were near the houses were also injured to varying degrees of severity.
The victims were taken to medical facilities, where they are receiving the necessary assistance.
In addition, an administrative building and 10 apartment buildings were damaged due to shelling.
Law enforcement officers began a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings into violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
