Natalukha: Every day at least 200 men of military age try to leave the country

The lack of economic booking has a significant impact on the market.

Dmytro Natalukha, lawyer, human rights activist, chairman of the Committee on Economic Development of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, MP, member of the Servant of the People faction, told Hromadske Radio about this.

“The absence of this toolkit (economic booking - Ed.) also has an effect on the market. Every day, at least 200 men of military age attempt to leave the country. Every day. Not to mention the number of dismissals from jobs in order to work unofficially and not appear on the registers. This is demoralization of the real sector of the economy. It has negative consequences,” explains the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Economic Development Committee.

Dmytro Natalukha adds that economic booking considers companies from the point of view of the strategic nature of their resources, including paying taxes to the state budget:

“Economic reservation is not intended to repeal the two regulations on strategic reservation. That is, they exist, they will exist, they are being modernized and improved. But companies do not always meet the criteria for strategic booking.

If you look at companies from the point of view of their strategic resources, for example, paying taxes to the state budget, it is not entirely clear why they cannot be given the opportunity to book their critical employees. If the booking is a guarantee that the company will continue to pay no less than it paid before. Why not give this opportunity to this company, thereby guaranteeing the filing of obligations,” says the lawyer.
