Venislavskyi: Prime Minister Shmyhal’s resignation during martial law is impossible

Venislavskyi noted that the resignation of the prime minister will lead to the dissolution of the entire Cabinet of Ministers. And Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Martial Law Regime” prohibits the termination of powers, including the Government.

“I don’t see any legal mechanisms for implementing such a hypothetical scenario now, without making changes to the legislation of Ukraine,” says Venislavskyi.
