The media told about the past of MP Mykola Tyshchenko

The scandalous MP Mykola Tyshchenko, known by the nickname "Cutlet", is also remembered by Kyiv residents as "Kolya Obolonsky". It is no secret that this odious MP has a criminal past.  And the first earnings, which he is so proud of, began with a banal racketeering.

But what is actually hidden under the image of an unlucky media cook and people’s choice after the scandal with the beating of an ex-Kraken fighter is now being found out by Ukrainian investigators from the publication delo.ua , TSN reports.

It is no secret that law enforcement officers were investigating Tyshchenko back in the early nineties, journalists say. It was from the published internal databases of the then police that Tyshchenko’s criminal career and his role in organised crime groups became known. At the time, the OCD was in charge of his "career". At that time, the operatives informed the management about the involvement of the Obolonskyi Kolya in heroin trafficking. Data on this was systematically entered into the internal database of the law enforcement agency. It included the weight of the drug, specific amounts, and even the points of sale where Tyshchenko made money on drugs. Even then, these were restaurants - Richelieu and Vasilok - as well as outlets at markets - and it was by "roofing" such trade that Tyshchenko earned his first fortune, of which he is so proud.

Investigators note that it turned out that the past of the so-called ’brigadier’ of a criminal gang was not the worst of Tyshchenko’s past. The media and the "roof" in the high offices of the government did everything to hide the story of Mykola Tyshchenko and the real murder.

It was the end of the nineties, and "Kolya Obolonskyi", just like now, felt as unpunished as possible, according to journalists. He was involved in a fight in one of the capital’s cafes on Kostyantynivska Street - the victim was beaten to death. Law enforcement officers investigated Tyshchenko’s involvement - according to their data, it was the young athlete who had beaten a visitor to death at the time. But for some reason, all the materials of this case were destroyed, the evidence was also destroyed, and the mention of the case was deleted only from the internal database of the OCD.

The media reported that Tyshchenko was actually involved in at least two murder cases. Another one took place right on Khreshchatyk - the victim was a gangster called Savloha from the group to which Tyshchenko belonged. The case involved extortion, participation in a banal racket and death threats against the director of the Bingo club, Razvodovsky. This case was also eventually closed. It is with this background that Mykola Tyshchenko joined the pro-government team, remains in the Ukrainian parliament and is not even afraid of these shameful facts being made public - Tyshchenko’s confidence in his own impunity has remained unchanged since the ’turbulent nineties’, according to media reports.
