US President Joe Biden said he is not ready to talk to Russian leader Vladimir Putin until he changes his behavior.

Biden said this at a press conference after the NATO summit in Washington, European Pravda reports.

Biden said he doesn’t see Putin as willing to change his behavior.

"I don’t see any reason to talk to Putin right now. There’s not much he’s willing to do in terms of behavior change. But there’s no world leader I’m not willing to engage with.

But is Putin ready to talk? I’m not ready to talk to Putin until he changes his behavior.

He thought he had won the war, but still captured 17.3% of Ukraine. They were not successful, they suffered terrible loss of life. They lost more than 350 thousand troops killed or wounded. More than a million educated young people left Russia."

According to him, the idea that Russia will change fundamentally in the near future is not realistic. Biden also added that the Russian Federation will not stop at Ukraine and recalled Putin’s speech before the invasion.

He repeated that he was ready to talk with any leader, including Putin, “if Putin wants to talk, he will call me on the phone.”
