Energy workers have increased the light limit schedules

On Friday, July 12, power engineers will turn off four lines simultaneously from 14:00 to 24:00, instead of the previously announced from 16:00 to 23:00, which means a limit to 70% of consumers in each area.

This was reported by the press service of NEC Ukrenergo.

“On July 12, oblenergos apply consumption restrictions throughout the day. From 14:00 to 24:00, four stages of hourly outage schedules will be used to compensate for energy shortages in the system.”

Four lines is a limit to 70% of consumers in each area. At the same time, during other hours of the day, power engineers will use only three lines - for half of the consumers.

It is noted that electricity consumption in the country is at its maximum for the summer period. The reason for the restrictions is the abnormal heat in Ukraine and Europe with a significant energy shortage in the Ukrainian energy system as a result of massive Russian attacks.
