In Zhytomyr region, an infrastructure facility and houses were damaged as a result of an enemy attack
On the night of July 25, the Zhytomyr region was attacked by about a dozen Russian Shahed-type kamikaze drones. The sky defenders shot down most of their targets, but there were some hits.
Infrastructure and private homes were damaged in the region. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Bunechko.
“The air defence forces carried out intensive anti-attack work and hit most of about 10 air targets,” he noted.
At the same time, he added that both due to the falling debris and the shock wave from the hit, up to 10 private houses and an infrastructure facility were damaged.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries. At the site of the attack, liquidation of the consequences is underway.
“Citizens whose buildings were damaged will be provided with the assistance necessary for restoration,” the RMA promised.
