The command of the Air Assault Brigade confirmed the information that the commander of the 80th Air Assault Brigade, which is fighting near Krasnohorivka, is to be dismissed.

At the same time, they said that this was not about punishment, but about promotion, the command of the Air Assault Forces said in a statement.

“This will allow him to apply his knowledge, skills and leadership qualities acquired in planning and organizing combat operations on the scale of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the statement says.
