On Friday, 2 August, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the team of the Ministry of Defence. They discussed ways to reduce bureaucracy in the army.

The head of state spoke about this in his evening address to the nation.

According to him, the authorities are preparing “new and completely modern solutions” for the military, which will remove a lot of unnecessary bureaucracy and paperwork from the units.

“Soon these decisions will be presented to our society. They have a truly innovative look,” Zelenskyy emphasized.

In addition, the president announced news regarding greater consolidation of “both our people and everyone in the world who helps us.” To this end, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada are preparing a number of relevant decisions for August.
