The invaders shelled eight communities in the Sumy region at night

Russian troops shelled eight communities in the Sumy region on Thursday night, RMA reports .

"At night and in the morning, Russians fired 23 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy region. 50 explosions were recorded. The Khotyn, Yunakiv, Bilopil, Krasnopil, Velykopysariv, Novoslobid, Hlukhiv, Esman communities were shelled," the statement said.

According to the JMA, Yunakivska (15 explosions), Khotynska (4 explosions) and Hlukhivska (3 explosions) communities were hit by guided aerial bombs.

The Bilopilska community was hit by CAB air strikes (3 explosions) and the dropping of explosive ordnance from a UAV (1 explosion).

The Novoslobidska (3 explosions) and Krasnopilska (2 explosions) communities came under artillery fire.

The Velykopysarivska community was shelled with an AGS (12 explosions). The Russians dropped 7 mines on the Esman community.
