Air defence forces shot down 30 of 38 "shaheds" over Ukraine at night

On the night of August 13, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 2 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 38 Shahed-type attack UAVs, and 30 enemy drones were destroyed.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

"As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare systems of the Air Force shot down 30 enemy UAVs in the Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions."

It is reported that the occupiers launched the missiles from the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, and the drones from the areas of the Russian cities of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk.
