Russians shelled Kherson and its suburbs: there is a fatality

Russian armed forces shelled Kherson and its environs. The attack killed a 62-year-old woman and injured a 63-year-old man.

The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.

It is known that on August 24 at about 2:50 a.m. the Russian military carried out mortar shelling of Kherson. A 62-year-old woman who was at home received injuries incompatible with life. The occupiers also attacked Antonivka, where a 63-year-old local resident was injured.

Prosecutors, along with other law enforcement officers, are documenting the aftermath of the shelling. A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, accompanied by premeditated murder.

At the same time, the head of the Kherson RMA Roman Mrochko noted that a 27-year-old man who was injured during the shelling of the city on August 23 contacted doctors today. The victim received a mine-explosive injury, concussion and shrapnel wounds.
