Occupiers hit Lviv: there are fires in residential buildings and injuries
At dawn on September 4, explosions were heard in Lviv during an air raid alarm. Russian terrorists attacked the city with Kinzhal missiles. At least six people were injured, including a 10-year-old boy.
The head of the Lviv RMA Maksym Kozytskyi and the mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported on the consequences of the shelling in Telegram. Lviv residents were asked to stay in shelter.
"Daggers on Lviv territory. Air defence is working. Do not film! Stay in cover," Sadovyi wrote.
Kozytskyi reported that as a result of enemy shelling, residential buildings were damaged in Lviv. All relevant services were sent to the scene.
Sadovyi noted that a fire broke out in residential buildings in the area of the main station.
"Today, two schools will not start classes: students from Arnika and 17 remain at home. There are many broken windows in the area of Konovalets, Mikhnovskyi brothers, and Melnyk streets," the mayor added.
Local media have released horrific footage from the scene of the attack, showing extensive damage to a multi-story building, a massive fire and the sky turning red from the flames.
"The presence of 6 victims as a result of the attack on Lviv has already been confirmed. Among them is a 10-year-old boy. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance," Sadovyi wrote later.
