Russia has resumed its assault operations in the southern areas of Ukraine. The intensity of attacks and the number of shellings are gradually increasing to previous levels, although they are still lower than in the Donetsk area.

Russia has stepped up its assault operations in the southern directions, and their intensity, as well as the number of attacks, are gradually returning to previous levels.

This was announced by the speaker of the OSGV "Tavriya" Dmytro Lykhoviy on the air of the telethon.

"After a relative lull, the intensity of the enemy’s assaults and the number of Russian shellings in the southern directions are gradually increasing to previous levels," Lykhoviy noted. He also added that the attack rates are lower than in the Donetsk direction. "Yesterday, a total of 7 assaults were repelled, while the day before yesterday there were 11," Lykhoviy said.
