The SSU and the National Police detained arsonists who, on instructions from the Russian Federation, were “hunting” for Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles in the Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi regions.

The Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police detained two more groups of arsonists who, on orders from the Russian special services, were operating in Kyiv and Khmelnytskyi. On the orders of the occupiers, their accomplices set fire to the vehicles of the Defence Forces.

The SSU reported this on its Telegram channel.

The detainees were four residents of different regions of Ukraine. The aggressor came to their attention when they were looking for "easy money" in Telegram channels.

"According to instructions from Russia, the criminals first tracked the locations of potential targets and "agreed" on them with their Russian handlers. Then the suspects arrived at the parking places of official vehicles and set them on fire using gasoline and flammable mixtures. The arsonists recorded the fires on their phone cameras and then sent these videos to the occupiers," the report says.

According to available information, the Russian curators never paid the arsonists for the crime they committed.
