In Kropyvnytskyi, the head of the Military Medical Commission, who was selling "white tickets" to conscripts, was detained
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have exposed the head of the military medical commission of Kropyvnytskyi, who, in collusion with an employee of one of the regional dispensaries, organized the sale of "white" military tickets.
This was reported by the bureau’s press service on Telegram.
As noted, the head of the MMC is charged with creating a scheme to receive money from conscripts. For being recognized as "unfit" for service, men had to pay from 2,000 to 10,000 dollars. A doctor from the dispensary was involved in the scheme, who looked for those wishing to avoid mobilization and made false diagnoses regarding the health problems of those subject to military service.
According to operational data, during the six months of the scheme’s operation, the perpetrators "earned" over a million hryvnias from draft dodgers.
Law enforcement officers detained the head of the MMC and his accomplice during the distribution of payment for another "white ticket".
They were charged with receiving unlawful benefits by an official (Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The issue of choosing a preventive measure is being resolved.
