Lawyer convicted by the HACC for fraud offers assistance services with issues in the TRC

Lawyer Yevhen Berestovyi, who was convicted by the High Anti-Corruption Court for bribery and fraud, along with a colleague decided to offer assistance services to military personnel and draft evaders, as he was not stripped of his license. 

This became known from the website of the law firm "Law Office of Polischuk D.O.". The firm registered the website "Military Lawyer".

It states that the team of "professionals" – Dmytro Polischuk and Yevhen Berestovyi provide legal assistance to conscripts, reservists, service members, and their relatives in the following:

• Obtaining a draft deferment
• Support and appeal during unlawful detention and holding in TRC and SS
• Support during the process of Military Medical Commission evaluation
• Appeal of results and procedures of Military Medical Commission evaluations
• Appeal of unlawful mobilization and conscription for military service
• Appeal against denial of a draft deferment
• Discharge from military service
• Filing a report and appealing the refusal to satisfy or review it
• Submitting attorney requests to clarify registration status in TRC
• Obtaining monetary compensations and due financial support

At the same time, drafting reports is priced at 4,000 hryvnias. Polischuk himself arrived in Odesa from the city of Oleshky, where his firm is registered. As it became known from the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court, the "professional" Berestovyi attempted to hand over $1,000 to the judge of the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa, Lonskyi, for which he was detained.
