In the Presidential Office, it is denied that Zelenskyy is ready to freeze the war

The Office of the President denies that Zelenskyy agreed to freeze the war along the front line in exchange for security guarantees, as reported by the Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera.

The communications adviser to the president, Dmytro Lytvyn, noted that the Office is ready to act only within the framework of Zelenskyy’s "peace formula," which envisages the withdrawal of Russian troops from the country’s borders.

"This is not true. We have a ’peace formula’ that clearly states how Ukraine envisions a just peace, and it is on this basis that negotiations with partners are ongoing to strengthen Ukraine’s position. The ’victory plan,’ which will be presented to the UK, France, Italy, and Germany in the coming days, serves as a tool to push the situation towards the realization of the ’peace formula’," Lytvyn stated.
