A Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier announced a breakthrough on the flank in the Kursk region

Currently, the situation in the Kursk direction is indeed challenging, especially with logistical difficulties and the evacuation of wounded Ukrainian soldiers. Political scientist and Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman Kyrylo Sazonov said this in an interview with the YouTube channel Politeka Online said.

"Our guys are currently holding the defence. We are constantly in contact with them, and they are being attacked from two, and sometimes even three directions. We are also putting pressure on the enemy from two sides. I am waiting for information every hour so that we can unblock the guys, deliver ammunition to them, and evacuate the wounded. However, the situation remains tense at the moment," Sazonov reported.

According to him, the Ukrainian command will need to find out why the left flank in the Kursk region suddenly weakened, allowing the Russians to enter.

"When the war ends, we will discuss everything. We will talk about losses, mistakes. We will discuss the generals who did not cope. I also have something to say. I will talk about many important people in high positions who disappeared at the beginning of the war, fled, and we fought perfectly without them, liberated the Kyiv region without them," Sazonov noted.

He also added that the Russian Armed Forces are destroying the Kursk region just as they destroyed the Donbas.

"The villages in the Kursk region, for which battles are being fought, now look like Toretsk, like New York, like Bakhmut, like Avdiivka. They are destroying them to the ground," Sazonov emphasized.
