Zelenskyy revealed which countries were decided not to be shown the secret additions to the Victory Plan
Some states do not provide assistance to Kyiv in the conflict with Russia. Therefore, according to the president, they should not be granted access to secret documents.
Ukraine’s "victory plan," consisting of five points and three secret appendices, will not be accessible to everyone. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the telethon mentioned.
According to him, the secret appendices to the plan are only provided to those countries that have specific capabilities to strengthen the country in the conflict with Russia.
"If there are no such capabilities, then why do they need the appendices? We trust them, but then why give them the appendices?" the president believes.
He also mentioned that there are states that have done nothing to help Ukraine during the conflict but would like to gain access to these documents. Therefore, the head of state expressed doubt about the necessity of sharing secret information among "neutral" countries.
Zelenskyy also emphasized that Ukraine, which did not intend to threaten anyone with nuclear weapons, should be a member of NATO. Among the arguments he noted that the country gave up its missiles, and the Budapest Memorandum guaranteed its security.
According to him, if Ukraine had not given up nuclear weapons—it would have been the same "umbrella" as other nuclear states have.
However, in his opinion, the North Atlantic Alliance is a better choice than any kind of weapon, especially such a threatening one. As the president pointed out, countries where there is no war are either NATO states or those with a powerful weapons arsenal.
