This was reported by the head of the RMA, Fedorov.

"I tell everyone that we should prepare for the fact that there might be no electricity at all. Perhaps not everyone likes this because we are speaking about such categorical things. But let’s prepare for the worst. If things turn out better — that would be great," — he said during the TV marathon broadcast.

In Zaporizhzhya, centralized electricity supply for water pumping stations might be absent, so it is planned to use generators to power them. Cogeneration installations will be set up at large boiler houses. Schools and hospitals are already equipped with generators.

"Why is there a delay and why didn’t we address this before the start of the heating season? Because we understand that Ukraine is a huge country, and today we have a huge demand for cogeneration installations. No production in the world can meet the needs of such a large country as Ukraine. Moreover, we lack the funds. Our partners provide us with financing; they purchased," — said Fedorov.
