Baerbock announced the allocation of humanitarian aid to Ukraine in the amount of 200 million euros
Germany will provide Ukraine with humanitarian aid amounting to 200 million euros before the onset of winter.
This was announced by German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock at a joint press conference with her Ukrainian colleague Andriy Sybiha in Kyiv.
“We are increasing our emergency humanitarian aid by an additional 200 million euros for urgent winter support. Homes without heat will be able to obtain it. Generators will also be provided to ensure heating during the winter period,” said the German diplomat.
Baerbock also emphasized the importance of strengthening Ukraine’s air defense and stated that Germany will unite efforts within the framework of an international coalition to enhance air defense.
The German Foreign Minister added that she discussed cooperation in drone production with her Ukrainian colleague.
“If Germany can help with drones, it is the best protection for ourselves,” noted Baerbock.
