The occupiers attacked Ukraine at night with 110 Shahed-type strike UAVs

On the night of November 12, Russian troops launched an attack on Ukraine using 110 Shahed-type strike UAVs, missiles, and guided aerial bombs.

This was informed by the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During the night (from 9:00 PM on November 11), the occupiers:

  • used an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile to attack Kharkiv from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation;
  • launched two Kh-59/69 guided aerial missiles at the Chernihiv region from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation;
  • conducted shelling of the Sumy and Kharkiv regions with guided aerial bombs;
  • launched 110 Shahed-type strike UAVs and unidentified drones at Ukraine from the areas of Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Bryansk.

As of 11:00 AM on November 12, 46 UAVs have been confirmed shot down in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Zaporizhzhya, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Mykolaiv regions.

An additional 60 Russian drones were lost location-wise in various regions of Ukraine, two drones exited Ukraine’s airspace in the direction of Belarus.

The air attack was countered by anti-aircraft missile forces, aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Forces, and the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
