In the Kurakhove direction, Russian forces captured Antonivka near Katerynivka, control over which also raises significant doubts.

This was reported on Telegram by Ukrainian military journalist Bohdan Miroshnykov.

He also notes that the occupiers continue to hold Sontsivka and are strengthening their positions. In the area of Dalne, it is possible to maintain control over the northern and western outskirts, as well as to hinder the enemy’s advance to the northeast of the village towards Kurakhove. In Petrivka and Hryhorivka, the Defence Forces managed to exit operational encirclement. The situation was critical.

Miroshnykov reported that at present the main battles are taking place near Zhovte and Pustynka, part of Pustynka is already occupied by Russian forces. A small part on the southwestern edge of Novoselydivka and a third of Berestky are still under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but soon it will be necessary to get out of this situation.

"Everything depends on how long the remaining forces in Sontsivka can resist," Miroshnykov notes. He considers the situation in the Kurakhove area to be very difficult.
