An earthquake occurred near Odesa region in the morning
On the morning of November 24, an earthquake was recorded in the Vrancha seismic zone, near the Odesa region. The epicenter depth was 128.1 km, and the intensity of the tremors reached level II.
This was reported by the Romanian National Institute for Research and Development in Earth Physics.
According to the institute’s data, the ground vibrations occurred at a depth of 128.1 km. The cities closest to the epicenter of the earthquake were:
- 25 km from Buzău,
- 41 km from Focșani,
- 82 km from Brăila,
- 86 km from Ploiești,
- 87 km from Galați,
- 94 km from Slobozia.
Despite the moderate strength of the tremors, the earthquake remained within the intensity level II, so no significant damage or casualties were reported.
