The situation on the front line: since the beginning of the day, more than 140 combat clashes have occurred

Russian forces continue attacks in nearly all directions in the east and south of Ukraine, with the fiercest battles ongoing in the Pokrovsk, Kurakhove, and Lyman directions. As of 16:00 on November 26, the total number of combat encounters along the front line increased to 143.

This is reported in the operational briefing of the General Staff of the AFU. Ukrainian defense forces hold positions and take measures to prevent enemy forces from breaching.

Russian troops continue shelling Ukrainian territory using artillery and aviation. Settlements in the Sumy region, such as Volfyne, Progres, Yastrubshchyna, Popivka, Novovosylivka, Basivka, Riasne, and Khodyne, as well as Tymonovychi, Polisya, Huta-Studenetska in the Chernihiv region, came under enemy fire. According to current information, the enemy launched an airstrike on the territory of the Kursk region using a guided aerial bomb (GAB).

In the Kharkiv direction, four combat encounters were recorded near Vovchansk.

In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 assault attacks in the areas of Hryhorivka, Zelenyi Hay, Zahryzove, Sienkove, and Andriivka; three battles are still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy, supported by aviation, attacks in the areas of Hrekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Terny, and Torske. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 17 combat encounters, seven of which continue at this moment.

In the Siversk direction, battles in the Hryhorivka area are ongoing, with the clash with the enemy not yet concluded.

In the Toretsk direction, the occupiers carried out three attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Diliivka and Toretsk.

In the Pokrovsk direction, intense battles continue in the areas of Myrolubivka, Promin, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka, Chumatske, Pustynka, and Novyi Trud. The enemy made 31 attempts to displace our soldiers from occupied positions, 25 of which have been repelled. The enemy also dropped two aerial bombs near Zelene Pole and Pokrovsk.

In the Kurakhove direction, 12 combat encounters occurred in the areas of Berestok, Sontsivka, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka, Yelyzavetivka, Hanivka, and Antonivka. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled 23 enemy assaults.

In the Vremivka direction, near the settlements of Veselyi Hai, Trudove, Konstyantynopolske, Rozdolne, Novoandriivka, and Rivnopil, our soldiers repelled 12 enemy attacks, with one combat encounter ongoing.

In the Hulyai Pole direction, the enemy refrained from active actions.

In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers intensively used aviation, striking settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Temyrivka, and Pavlivka, dropping a total of ten guided aerial bombs.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled two enemy attacks.
