Zelenska answered where her children live during the war

The First Lady of Ukraine shared how her family overcomes the challenges of war, talked about the resilience of Ukrainians, and also about the life of her children in the capital.

The wife of the President of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska, for the first time in a long period, talked about her children and shared how her family lives in wartime conditions. In an interview with Italian host Bruno Vespa, the First Lady spoke about the 1000 days of Ukrainian resistance and the life of her family in Kyiv.

Together with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Olena raises two children: 20-year-old daughter Oleksandra and 11-year-old son Kyrylo. According to her, their family, like most Ukrainians, stays at home despite constant threats and shelling.

"It hasn’t been easy. And it won’t be until we see our victory. However, we try to view these 1000 days as 1000 days of resilience, endurance, the work towards victory," noted the First Lady.

Olena Zelenska also added that their children have not left Ukraine during the war and remain in Kyiv. For safety reasons, she refrained from disclosing details about her children’s lives.

"I can’t share all the details because of their safety. However, we are all in Ukraine, in Kyiv. And if I sometimes leave for business trips, my children stay only in Ukraine. Sometimes I meet with my husband at work. I cannot disclose the rest of the details," she explained.

The First Lady once again emphasized the resilience of the Ukrainian people and noted that her family, together with the country, awaits victory.
