Media: After the adoption of the law, mobilization indicators improved by 2.5 times

After the adoption of the Law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Improvement of Certain Issues of Mobilization, Military Registration, and Military Service" in the spring of 2024, the level of mobilization increased by 2.5 times.

A significant number of mobilizations were also ensured by reducing the mobilization age from 27 to 25 years.

This was reported by a source in the Armed Forces of Ukraine command.

According to him, after the law came into effect, registration data was updated for 4.3 million conscripted men by various methods, both in the TRC and through the "Reserve+" application.

In addition, after the initiative of the General Staff led to the adoption of CMU Resolution No. 560, which allows commanders of combat military units to independently recruit volunteers, several thousand citizens were drafted.

As reported by the source, nearly every branch of the military now has recruitment centers (currently there are five), with plans to create another one.

Comparing October to November, the number of citizens who voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine through recruitment doubled.

Additionally, the interlocutor informed LB.ua that following changes to the mobilization law, about 7,000 prisoners expressed a desire to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine, of which 6,000 are already serving in combat units.

Also, around 2,000 citizens of other countries or stateless persons serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the interlocutor did not specify how many conscripted Ukrainians are abroad or are wanted.
